We have visited different Islands of Greece for many years, Corfu and Rhodes were high up on our list of favourite Islands until we visited Kefalonia. We never expected to end up living here and running a business. From a dream to reality we have created a beautiful villa rental in Agia Irini Kefalonia and a 2nd home being a traditional Greek house.

Life on the island is great, not easy as it is expensive to live here but worth it. Kefalonia is beautiful, blue skies, beautiful blue seas and wonderful people. We have been welcomed here by the locals and treated like a local. The Greek people really do give the best customer service. We have recently experienced this. Our pool pump stopped working in our rental property. We panicked because we had guest in the villa and did not want this to spoil their stay at the villa. We did not know if we would be able to get a new pump without it having to be ordered. We went to Olympic pools in Sami and they really did save the day! the owner of the business gave us a temporary pump to use until he can fix our pump. He did not charge us for the rental of the pump and this is not the first time he has helped us. Olympic pools are a pool company who construct and maintain pools. They have a shop for accessories which are very good quality and better than the accessories supplied with our pool and they can mend pumps. I will make sure I shop at Olympic pools in future for all of our swimming pool needs.
